Blue Steel is a cold-blued finish, a chemical treatment that darkens the steel into mottled blue-gray tones directly on the metal rather than over paint. The result is a moody, worn-metal look that shifts across the curved karambit blade. It is a Covert finish and one of the more subdued, classic-metal options for the knife.
