Agreement

These Terms govern access to cs2.io and its pages (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits a right that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction.

What CS2.IO provides

CS2.IO is an independent Counter-Strike 2 database and tools platform. The team has maintained the underlying research since 2015, including a data and analytics workspace that operated privately by invitation for years. The current public Service provides searchable item data, marketplace comparison, price history, catalog analytics and practical tools. Additional datasets and editorial collections will be released only when their sources and methods are ready.

The Service has no user accounts and is not a marketplace, broker, escrow service, payment processor or custodian. CS2.IO does not buy, sell, transfer or hold skins or money and is not a party to transactions reached through its links.

Independent service and trademarks

CS2.IO is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve Corporation, Steam or any marketplace we compare. Counter-Strike, CS2, Steam and related names, marks and game assets belong to their respective owners. Their use identifies the games, items and sources discussed; it does not imply endorsement.

Price data and accuracy

Prices are snapshots captured at the time printed beside a table, not live quotes or completed-sale guarantees. Listings can disappear, spreads can move, fees and exchange rates can change, and rare float, sticker or pattern premiums may not be represented. Marketplace facts are checked against cited sources but can change between verification passes.

Always verify the final item, exterior, price, fees, payout method, region availability and counterparty on the destination site before acting. If data is missing, stale or inconsistent, do not treat it as a valuation.

No financial or investment advice

The Service is for research and comparison only. Nothing on CS2.IO is financial, investment, tax, legal or trading advice, a recommendation to buy or sell, or a promise of profit, liquidity or future value. Skins are volatile digital game items controlled by third-party rules; they can lose value or become difficult or impossible to trade.

Case opening is a paid random-reward activity with an expected loss. Treat it as entertainment, not income. Spend only what you can afford to lose and follow the age and loot-box rules that apply where you live.

Third-party marketplaces and links

When you follow a link, the destination’s terms, privacy policy, KYC rules, age limits, fees and dispute process govern your use of that service. CS2.IO cannot control a marketplace, reverse a trade, recover an account, issue a refund or release a withdrawal. Questions about a transaction must go to the marketplace or Steam Support as appropriate.

Commercial relationships and any future affiliate use are disclosed on the How we make money page. A relationship does not change the mathematical order of price tables.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service for lawful personal research and ordinary browsing. You must not:

• Interfere with the Service, bypass technical controls or send abusive automated traffic.
• Use the Service to facilitate fraud, phishing, market manipulation, unlawful transactions or evasion of platform or regional restrictions.
• Misrepresent CS2.IO data as live, official, guaranteed or produced by Valve or a marketplace.
• Copy substantial original content or datasets for republication without permission or required attribution.

Content and intellectual property

Original CS2.IO text, presentation, calculations and data compilations are protected to the extent allowed by applicable law. Third-party source data, trademarks, images and game assets remain subject to their owners’ rights and licenses. A link or citation does not transfer ownership to CS2.IO.

Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free data, fitness for a particular transaction or continued coverage of any item or marketplace. We may correct, add, remove or discontinue content or features as the Service and its sources change.

Limitation of responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CS2.IO and its operators are not responsible for losses caused by relying on stale or incomplete data, price movement, fees, exchange rates, third-party outages, account restrictions, scams, failed trades or the acts of a marketplace or counterparty. You remain responsible for checking the destination and deciding whether to transact.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the Service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Changes apply from publication unless a different effective date is stated.
