Desert Eagle Skins

About Desert Eagle Skins

Its long pickup-to-kill ceiling makes it the go-to buy on force rounds and eco rounds, which means a Deagle skin gets seen on screen far more than most weapon finishes. Russian players usually call it the "дигл" or just "орёл" (eagle).

Because the pistol is so widely bought, its skin pool is one of the deepest in the game and spans every price bracket. The cheap end is full of consumer- and mil-spec drops worth cents, while the top is anchored by the discontinued Blaze and a handful of Covert finishes. Below is what the Deagle is, which finishes matter, and what actually moves their price.

Prices range from $0.045 (Desert Eagle (Mudder)) to $541.78 (Desert Eagle (Blaze)).

Role and why the skin is so visible

The Desert Eagle is a secondary, so it sits in the pistol slot and is always available to buy at $700 regardless of side. It deals heavy damage: a single body shot does big numbers and a headshot kills through armor at most engagement distances, which is why it is the standard pick on save and force rounds and a common pistol-round upgrade. The trade-off is a stiff recoil pattern and slow recovery between shots, so it rewards tapping over spamming. Practically, you fire it deliberately and aim for the head, meaning the slide, frame and rail of the gun are on screen during the most tense moments of an eco. That visibility is the main reason Deagle skins hold steady demand across the whole catalog rather than only at the top.

Iconic and notable finishes

The defining Deagle skin is the Blaze, a Factory New flames finish from the original 2013 arms deal collections; it is discontinued, never reissued, and one of the most recognizable pistol skins in the game, so it trades at a strong premium for clean low-float copies. Printstream (a black-and-white pearlescent design that shows the gun's internals) and Code Red (red-on-black) are the modern crowd-favorite Covert-tier finishes and tend to be the most sought-after currently obtainable looks. Other staples include Kumicho Dragon, Cobalt Disruption, Mecha Industries, Ocean Drive, Hypnotic and the budget hero Conspiracy, which gives a vibrant gold-flecked look for very little money. Across these you also get StatTrak variants and occasional Souvenir versions from tournament drops, both of which carry their own premiums.

What drives value: float, finish type and StatTrak

Float (wear) is the biggest swing on the Deagle because so many of its iconic skins are painted in a way that shows scratches plainly on the slide and frame. Blaze is the clearest case: it only exists in lower wear ranges and Factory New copies command a large premium over worn ones. Solid-color and pearlescent finishes like Printstream and Cobalt Disruption show wear on the edges, so Factory New and Minimal Wear copies cost noticeably more than Field-Tested. StatTrak adds a kill counter and a premium on the popular finishes, and Souvenir versions (dropped from supported events) are rarer and priced separately. There are no pattern-index "gem" lotteries on the Deagle the way there are on Case Hardened rifles, so value tracks finish, wear and StatTrak rather than seed.

Price tiers, cheapest to top

At the bottom, consumer- and mil-spec Deagle skins (and many graffiti-style or simple-pattern drops) sell for cents, making it one of the easiest weapons to skin on a budget; Conspiracy and similar mid-tier finishes give a striking look for a few dollars. The mid bracket holds restricted and classified finishes plus Field-Tested copies of the popular Covert designs. The top is anchored by Factory New Code Red and Printstream, their StatTrak versions, and clean Blaze copies, with Souvenir and rare StatTrak combinations sitting alongside. Compare individual finishes and live prices on the Deagle item pages before buying, since pistol prices move with case availability and event drops.
