Trade-up ladder: this collection only
10 items of one rarity from this collection guarantee an output from the next tier up. Costs use the cheapest wear of the cheapest input; output value is the tier average.
| Input | Cost | Possible outputs | Avg output | EV?Expected value of one trade-up: the tier-average output minus the cost of 10 inputs. Wear carries over from your inputs, and collection ladders are rarely profitable at open asks. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10× Industrial Grade | $0.190 | 4× Mil-Spec | $0.210 avg | +11% |
| 10× Mil-Spec | $2.00 | 3× Restricted | $1.91 avg | -4% |
| 10× Restricted | $18.80 | 2× Classified | $15.29 avg | -19% |
| 10× Classified | $138.30 | 1× Covert | $138.54 avg | +0% |

Drop status: how this collection behaves
The Sport & Field Collection arrived with the Armory update on Oct 2, 2024 and is obtained by exchanging Armory Stars in-game, not from cases and not from weekly drops. That supply route matters for prices: while the collection stays in the Armory rotation, new copies flow in and prices stay anchored to the star exchange rate. When Valve rotates a collection out of the exchange, supply stops the same day and prices reprice quickly. Dated status changes are tracked in the drop-pool registry. Drop-pool registry →
This is also a trade-up collection: the ladder above prices every step with live numbers, and output wear follows the average float of your inputs. From this page's data: entry costs $0.019, the ceiling is M4A1-S (Fade) at $138.54, the Industrial Grade step is the ladder's only near-break-even move (+11%).
